My program covers all the basics of "Getting to know your body, heart and mind" that contribute to weight gain.
Body: Calories in, calories out: One pound is 3500 cals and to drop a pound in a week, seven days. 500 cals must be deleted from consumption daily. We talk about the foods that are high in calories, carbs, alcohol, especially sugary sweets, and come up with your ideal calories based on your height and bone size: small, medium or large and your age. As you age metabolism slows down and one must lower the calories accordingly to maintain radiant health. Exercise is also a very critical part of dropping weight and keeping it off. One mile walk releases 100 cals. Hiking and running more.
Heart and Mind: Emotional and stress eating: Stress is a major contributor to weight gain and the inability to shed those few pounds that just keep hanging around. I teach you how to handle and release it, all emotions are valid and there is a healthy way to deal with them. And finally you program your mind for a healthy skinny you. It all starts in the mind. If you can dream it you can be it!
